Corrine Blucher, B.S.

Corrine earned her Bachelor's degree in Global Health from UC San Diego where she developed a strong interest in behavioral health research. Currently, she manages multiple research studies at the Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine, broadening her knowledge and further reinforcing her excitement for advances in mental health.

Abbey Albertazzi

Abbey Albertazzi, M.A.

While earning her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology at SDSU, Abbey developed a strong background in neuropsychological research. She is now focused on expanding her experience coordinating multiple projects with different clinical populations, while incorporating her interests in cognitive and behavioral health and medicine.

Jacqueline Tasarz, M.D.

Jacqueline Tasarz, M.D.

Jackie completed her MD at UC Davis and she is currently a psychiatry resident in the community track of the UCSD Psychiatry Residency Program. She plans to pursue a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry after residency. Her clinical interests include community psychiatry, severe mental illness, and autism spectrum disorder.

Harman Brah

Harman Brah, M.D.

Harman graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Loyola Marymount University and earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He has research experience in pharmaceutical chemistry, structural biophysics, and pharmacodynamics. His current interests include the metabolic, genetic, and immunologic basis of psychosis, as well as the use of large language models (LLMs) in psychiatry. He is currently a research track resident at the UCLA/VA Psychiatry Residency Program.

Veronica Gandara

Veronica Gandara, B.S.

Veronica is currently a medical student at California Northstate University, College of Medicine, where she is diligently preparing for a career in psychiatry. Driven by a lifelong passion for mental health, she is actively involved in several research projects within the field, demonstrating her commitment to advancing psychiatric care.

Boning Yang

Boning Yang, B.S.

Co-supervised by Dr. Shamin Nemati

Boning is a Data Science graduate student at UC San Diego, where she also earned bachelor's degrees here in Cognitive Science and Dance. She is developing machine learning models to decode mental health crises in youth with intellectual disabilities. Her research spans predictive modeling, MEG spike detection, and visual motion classification, making her a versatile researcher in data science and mental health.

Camilla Reyes-Martinez

Camilla Reyes-Martinez, B.S.

Camila is a fourth-year medical student at UC San Diego School of Medicine, currently applying for residency. She is passionate about whole child wellness and working with children who have complex psychiatric and medical needs. Her clinical interests include eating disorders and autism spectrum disorder.
